Description: Final Journeys 1 & 2 is an introductory programme aimed at enhancing the quality of the interactions between patients at end of life,
their families and hospital staff.
It is an interactive programme at introductory level aimed to develop a culture of awareness of end of life care among all staff and to support the development
of communication skills in end of life care.
It was developed through the Hospice Friendly Hospitals programme.
This workshop gives managers or staff from acute and community hospitals and nursing homes an opportunity to engage in Final Journeys and to consider
whether it is a programme that could be facilitated locally in their workplace.
