Geraldine currently works as a Nurse Lecturer in the Department of Nursing & Health Science in the South East Technological University (SETU). She has 20 years Nursing experience with over 10 years as a Clinical Nurse specialist in Palliative Care. Since joining the academic team at SETU over four years ago, she has delivered education and support to undergraduate nursing students. She is also involved in the delivery of Postgraduate Education and was instrumental in the development of the Postgraduate Certificate in Palliative Care for Healthcare Professionals at SETU. Geraldine is currently a PhD candidate in the area of undergraduate nursing and Palliative Care with a commitment to improving Palliative Care education for undergraduate nursing students.
