Dr Noreen O’Shea graduated from University College Cork in 2010 and completed her RCPI Higher Specialist Training in Palliative Medicine in 2021.

Thereafter, Noreen completed a post CSCST fellowship in Neuropalliative Care in Tallaght University Hospital, during which she enhanced her expertise in delivering specialist palliative care to people with progressive neurodegenerative conditions, engaged with collaborative research projects, and had the opportunity to visit established Neuropalliative Centres in the UK and Germany.

Noreen is currently working as a locum consultant in Palliative Medicine in Marymount University Hospital & Hospice as the clinical lead for the Bantry-West Cork Specialist Palliative Care service.

Noreen also has a particular interest in Clinical Education, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education with the university of Edinburgh, and is currently Program Director for the Postgraduate Palliative Care courses in University College Cork.
