Felicity Hasson is a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Nursing Research at Ulster University (UU) with twenty-five years experience in research. A social researched by background, she has extensive experience and knowledge of Palliative Care research. Felicity has published widely in academic and professional journals with oer 140 research outputs and publications and has a successful history of grant acquisition. She has been returned in three consecutive Research Assessment Exercises (RARE 20078, REF 2014 & REF 2021).
She has an established and international portfolio of research expertise, with current grants focusing on Palliative Care and Public Health, delivery of out-of-hours care and the role of care assistants in inpatients and community care settings. She is Chair of Ulster University Palliative Care Research Strand and is an executive board member of Palliative Care Research Society UK and Palliative Care Research Forum NI. She is UU’s representative on the Council of Partners for the All-Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care. She is a reviewer for several national and international research-funding boards and Vice Chair of the Institute of ?Nursing, Paramedic and Health Sciences Ethics Filter Committee and a member of UU Research Ethics Committee.
